Oneway™ Attestations

A new way to prove what’s true.

Confirm a reviewed attribute without repeatedly disclosing the source document behind it. Ackaia issues a signed attestation that can be presented and independently verified.

Issued by Ackaia Corp. · Oneway™ Attestation Authority

Cryptographically signed

Verification reveals the attested result and integrity state—not the original evidence.

Attribute-level proof

Share the conclusion. Minimize the evidence.

Attestations are persistent account-level records. The sensitive evidence used to establish them follows a separate, short-lived document custody process.

01 · Request

A specific attribute is requested.

The verification flow asks only for the evidence required for the named attribute and, when applicable, an Oneway™ certificate confirmation.

02 · Review once

Qualified review establishes the result.

Browser-encrypted evidence is released once to an authorized reviewer through a short-lived, session-bound authorization. It is not placed in an ordinary support inbox.

03 · Retain the fact

A signed record becomes the source of truth.

The attestation keeps the verified conclusion, dates and source category. The evidence document and its decryption key do not become part of the attestation.

Initial attributes

Three facts. Purpose-built verification.

Each attribute has its own scope and validity. A verifier receives the result it needs without receiving the underlying document.

Evidence custody

The source document has one job—and a short life.

The verification system protects the evidence before transfer, narrows human access to one controlled delivery and closes custody without keeping the document behind the attestation.

  1. Before transfer

    Encrypted in your browser

A unique AES-256-GCM key protects each document before upload. Only ciphertext and protected key material travel to Ackaia over HTTPS.
  2. Restricted review

    Claimed by a qualified reviewer

Access requires a specialized permission and a short-lived, single-use authorization bound to the reviewer and their authenticated session.
  3. Before display

    Key and ciphertext are erased

The system destroys the document key and confirms deletion of the stored ciphertext before releasing the prepared document for its one authorized review.
  4. After review

    A signed receipt remains

A tamper-evident custody record preserves when erasure was confirmed and how the review concluded—without preserving the submitted evidence.
No confirmed deletion, no document delivery
If the system cannot confirm key destruction or ciphertext deletion, it does not release the document to the reviewer.

Cryptographic erasure receipt

Deletion becomes a signed record.

Closing document custody produces a machine-readable JSON receipt signed by Ackaia’s verification system. It lets the account holder retain evidence of what the controlled system recorded after the source document ceased to be available.

  • Stable receipt and custody references
  • Recorded key-erasure and ciphertext-deletion outcomes
  • Cryptographically chained custody events
  • RS256 signature and signing-key identifier

The destruction receipt is separate from an Oneway™ Attestation report. The report presents verified attributes; the receipt proves the integrity of the recorded document-custody outcome.

Public verification key

Verify the receipt independently.

Download the trust anchor published by Ackaia, compare its SHA-256 key ID with the receipt, then verify the canonical payload and signature locally.

Current destruction receipts use RS256 with an RSA public key. This is not an OpenPGP signature or PGP key.

Receipt verification

Verify destruction without sending the receipt back.

Select the JSON destruction receipt downloaded from Ackaia ID. This page checks its signed closure event against Ackaia’s published public key and explains exactly what the result proves.

Portable reports

A signed PDF with a live verification path.

After the source evidence has completed its separate custody cycle, account holders can export an official Ackaia report containing their verified attributes. Its QR code and document ID lead back to a live authenticity check.
  • Ackaia issuer and authority
  • Issue and expiry dates
  • Verified attributes and source categories
  • Cryptographic integrity status
An Oneway™ Attestation report is not a government-issued identity document and must not be treated as one.

Public verification

Check an attestation report.

Paste the verification link printed in the PDF, or enter its document ID. The live result comes from the Ackaia ID attestation authority.
Accepted format: an official ackaia.com verification link or an OWR document ID.
Example document ID: OWR- + 40 characters
