Oneway™ uses the certificate selection built into your browser and the mutual authentication built into TLS.

01 · Issue

Create your device certificate.

Ackaia ID issues a certificate for your account and protects the downloadable PKCS#12 package with the password you choose.

02 · Install

Keep the proof on your device.

Install the certificate in your browser or operating system. The private key and downloadable package are not retained after delivery.

03 · Sign in

Let mutual TLS prove possession.

Select Login with Oneway™, choose the certificate when your browser asks, and complete MFA if your account requires it.

Certificates expire automatically. Custom validity, when available, remains within a safe 30–90 day window.

Sensitive changes invalidate access

Changes to important account credentials and identity factors invalidate existing Oneway™ certificates.

Oneway™ adds a protected sign-in path; it does not remove the account recovery and security controls you already use.
